Now that's out of the way...
Blogging why am I doing it now that it seems almost a old way to communicate with the world, almost like writing a letter (when was the last time you did that). From my point of view I have started to blog before because of the hype and everybody was doing it, but now the dust has settled and everybody has turned to Twitter or Facebook so am looking back at blogging as a tool. I work in a new media team so I get told lot’s of stuff, loads of websites and generally come across loads of stuff when casually surfing the WWW. So this blog will be linking to all that stuff so I can find it quickly (am bored of favourites) and you can too (yes I know of social book-marking). Plus I get to rant which is always a bonus.
As this is the first one I won’t put everything down and have a brain freeze going on. But why call my blog Amalgamation of Technology I hear you call (no not really) – Well it’s how I see the future panning out, yes I could have used Blend or Fusion but I like Amalgamation because:
It Doesn’t sound as harsh or abrasive as Blend, Mash (up) or Fusion
I couldn’t spell it, but knew what it meant (Thanks Ian for digging the correct spelling out for me).
Well that’s the title of the blog but the URL is http://smallerfaster.blogger.com/, why this I hear you cry (am joking, I don’t have access to your web cam, just yet)!
Well this is two thirds of how the industry is thinking everything has to be the full list:
Smaller
Faster
Capacity
Smallfastercapacity.blog see I couldn’t even be bothered to type the whole thing out, that’s why I picked the first two, also the blogs title would be too long for a normal human to consume so I used my own theory to make it smaller and faster.
Well that’s the first one done cya you soon.
